Everything else being introduced in the next WoW expansion pack can go to hell, AFAIC, but troll druids had BETTER BE FREAKING AMAZING.This image ([link] ) has been floating around for a few days but I'm going to go ahead and tell myself it's a fake because ROFL OHGODPLEASE NO SMASHEDFACECAT. I'm really hoping that they're going to do tiger or jaguar-based cat-skins for the DPS forms, since trolls are all jungly and whatnot.
And they'd better have tusks |:C

So this was just a really fast doodle to sort of test out what I'm hoping they go for. Pay no heed to the anatomy or crappy coloring, was going for speed and rough idea-sketching above all else.

Actualy mine looks pritty good. My troll druid has purple hair, so I got a white/lite blueish one with lilac hair, and it looks nice.

You'll be happy, the troll druid cat forms are very similar to you second link except they are brightly colored. How do I know for positive? Because I'm in Cata Beta!!!!

they look pretty much like that only with mohawks and are brightly colored like blue and yellow.

Tigers would make total sense :/ And yeah, smashed face cat is supposedly fan-made obviously because it makes NO sense in troll lore, especially for Darkspears or Shatterspears, seeing as how bobcats are...no where near them in relation to their homelands >:T So yeah, if Blizz doesn't go with a tiger, then...they are just retarded. Panthers are acceptable too, but they'd probably just look too much like nelf cat form.

The real cat forms have been out for a while now XD IDK why or how everyone is suddenly finding this deviation but it's from over a year ago ahaha.
They went with tigers, but they managed to make them as HIDEOUSLY COLORED as possible so. I am disappoint.

They've had pictures of the troll druids on the forums and from the beta. The two 'leaked' ones you got there don't do the real ones justice.
Let me just say, the cats are SICK.
The cats are green and blue colored, tiger striped with manes down their backs like the troll mohawks. Their kitty tusks are long and narrow.
The bears are cool as well but the colors are brighter and more neon. Their tusks are outward and big, manes as well that are very firery (that's the perfect word: it looks like they have flaming manes.) Personally though, I like the cats better, but the bears look really noticeable.

This is an older deviation, I've been aware of the "real" troll druid forms preeetty much since they were first data-mined X) Kinda have my finger on the pulse of the troll world.
Have to say, I pretty much hate them. They're hideous. I was hoping for brighter or at least matching or sensibly contrasting colors. They currently look like a thrift store threw up on them.
The bear forms I can live with.

Note they weren't player models, but the druid trainers look like this so it's safe to assume that yes these are the final plans. (Yes, in the beta, the druid trainers for trolls are in their animal forms. Wish I could find the vid for that again.)

All wow felines, bears canines etc have 3 toes not four

Nope, the most recent night elf and tauren catforms both have four toes so that's not a sure way to tell

I agree about the smash-face cat things, they're almost too cutesy. I want some brutal tiger action as well. With enormous tusks and spazzy troll hair.

I haven't read everything that will be in the new expansion, but some of it seems cool.
I am an alliance, but this troll druid might make me switch over to the hordie side.

The first thing that popped into my head when I thought of troll cat forms was tiger or jaguar. Because the travel form is already spotted though, I lean more towards tiger.
I also hope those catform pics are just a rumor. Frankly take off the tusks and the form looks more suited to the new wargen druids imo.

Great job. I actually cant wait until the Worgen come out, I wonder what their druid forms would be like, one day I hope they change the skins for the Travel, Sea, and Flight Forms so they are more distinct on the race and not the class.

The lynx-form is confirmed fake, if you didn't know that. Something about sticking a female-worgen face on the new cat form, hacking up the tail, and copying some tusks on.
If Blizz doesn't make cat form a tiger we can confirm the company officially stupid.

I hope they fix the level 60 flight form- at least the Tauren one. It's just a brown (ginger?) version of the Nelf one, and it doesn't look cool. =/

ZG is the jungle-troll empire so there are two bosses, a tiger aspect and a panther aspect. There is a lynx-boss in Zul'Aman as well as it being one of Zul'jin's forms, but they're forest trolls so I don't think it really counts

(I wish they'd make shamans' ghost-wolf forms unique to each race too. When I'm in ghost-wolf form running through enemy territory, how do they know I'm a tauren/draenei? How do they know I'm not one of theirs? I look the same, after all.)

When I heard about the new class/race combinations, I sure wasn't too thrilled, but there's just no way for me to NOT make a troll druid when they come available. 8) And I sure hope they won't look like those lynxes. The tusks were nice, but the cat behind the tusks wasn't really troll-ish.

Only problem I have with both the leaked and your designs are the teeth. Although they're already impractical for a humanoid like a Troll, for a feline, it's just...weird.
Now if they made them Saber toothed panthers...*rubs chin*

All the cats in WoW (except housecats) have sabers already, so that wouldn't make the druid form different enough from the ones you see wandering around in the wild.
