I haven't been uploading lately, yes, but trust me when I say it's not because I don't want to. I'm just stuck working on a shitty yearbook design for my high school, and I have an actual deadline on that so...have been trying to avoid drawing anything else until I finish that.This just sort of slipped out, though. Art deprivation and an excess of Neopets will do that to you.

Man, I gotta go back to Neopets and look at those flash movies to see untransformed Darigan again. I forgot he was somewhat Korbattish. O_o
Anyways, nice picture of two of my favorite Neopets villains. But, is it really wise to give Darigan a mirror provided by Vira? Knowing the tales of Vira's twisted mirrors, she's not the safest provider.

Well, that's...kind of the point. Vira's mirrors show the images of a person's true self. Hence, untransformed Darigan.

I do not know what to say. This is great, for reasons that have already been said. Plus, this is not the usual neoart people post. I have to say I like how the shading has texture, I love how you did the wings. This should be ample reason to why I favourited this, plus the fact that Darigan and Vira are on my favourite neopian character list

Ohhhh man, now that's awesome! I really love this, the art is fantastic as usual (and your GCing skills never cease to invoke awe in me) but the composition on this is particularly fantastic. I love Lord Darigan's expression--he's so sad, so noble, so depressed. Definitely the angsty type. The whole subject matter is interesting--I was just reading Vira's piece in the gallery of evil, and this is an interesting take. Really thought-provoking, honestly.
You should consider sending this into the art gallery, it seems the sort of piece Neo would be interested in. And then you could send me half the NPs 
The only thing art-wise I'm curious about is where Vira's other leg is. Darigan is apparently holding the mirror, and Vira has one arm thrown over it (gee whiz she's small), and it appears her left leg is hidden behind Darigan's wing. Where's her right leg? And, for that matter, what is she standing on, if anything? Is she hovering? The wings don't seem properly placed for her to be in flight. When I first looked at it, I assumed it was a larger mirror and she was standing further away holding it--but then I saw Darigan's hand, and so I'm altogether confused.
That notwithstanding, this is awesome for something that just leaked out

No, no, both legs are right there, extending down towards Darigan's wing. The dark line in the middle is supposed to seperate the two. The thing that bothers me is that the toe of her boot should be sticking out just past his wingclaw, and it's not. Ohwell. Flexible feet?
She's hovering, albeit she'd probably be jerking around quite a bit more and not able to easily lean on the mirror. Magical levitational properties? Sounds good to me :3
And yeah, I've always pictured Darigan as being really tall. In one of the Meridell movies, he's shown as being the same height as his Grarrl soldier, but in other parts, it seems he's much larger. I dunno.
Anyway, thank you for the in-depth commentary! Really pleases me muchly :3 And if SOMEONE would freaking NEOMAIL me, we could get somthing done! >
