Description In an attempt to make the maps even easier to use, all of the Exterior guides are being completely redone. Each reference image is physically sorted by location in the map, as evidenced by the blue boundary lines. In addition, the use of the photo map should make it possible to find a one to one correlation to the majority of the buildings shown in each reference image, with the exceptions of images showing nearby streets (in which case, they should map to other images) and images that only help to show the *shape* of an area (in which case, the buildings will be blatantly nonaccurate).

> finish these reference guides + redo all the interiors
sounds great

>best of luck on any 3D reconstruction of Ponyville!
Thank you!

> I'm afraid that my maps don't show the locale of foliage or altitude in most cases
That's is not a very big problem.
As you maybe can see in my gallery, I'm working with 3D reconstructions of ancient buildings and cities.
And believe me, there are less info, then you gathered about ponyville structure.

> Still, I'm looking forward to seeing your work
If it really come true, I'll let you know

> I'd recommend starting here: aurebesh.deviantart.com/art/Bu…  . Most of Ponyville is made up of about two dozen repeating building types, so that should heavily simplify things.
I think, I forget to say, that I'm already reviewed all your gallery, and saved all of this great plans, schemes, maps etc.

Great work, as allways!
Watching for your "plan recostructions", something about 2 months...

In very far future, I'm planning to create some sort of Ponyville 3D Reconstruction,

based on your great works...

Two months since I last seriously DA'd sounds about right.  Things got incredibly busy on this end with work and the like, and I came back to find over a thousand deviations in my inbox... ^^  Current plans are to finish these reference guides + redo all the interiors before season 4 starts up, but who knows if it'll happen.  Heck, this was done on borrowed time as it is.

Anywho, best of luck on any 3D reconstruction of Ponyville!  I'm afraid that my maps don't show the locale of foliage or altitude in most cases, so you'll have to do a little research of your own...  Still, I'm looking forward to seeing your work.  I'd recommend starting here: aurebesh.deviantart.com/art/Bu… . Most of Ponyville is made up of about two dozen repeating building types, so that should heavily simplify things.  Happy modeling!
