PreviousOf course l couldn't freaking do it. What am l, a monster? Pshaw.
Besides, l've been a Chimbley/CM fan for ages. l just don't have it in me to take out a character l adore, or to wipe out the character of an artist l admire. AND SO! Annoying week long cliffhanger gimmicks.

Now, you may be wondering...Auryn. Auryn, you seem to have not eliminated your opponent. As a matter of fact...you seem to have eliminated yourself. Perhaps, Auryn, you are slightly confused.

So anyhow, like everyone else in the world right now, l've got some financial problems. They reared their ugly head(s?) just a couple days after the LoT matches were announced for this round, and l, being the stubborn thing l am, did not back out then! ANYHOW, l am now working two jobs so that l can still afford my apartment in a couple months, and have school slightly above part time, and this, and that. The new job takes up a LOT of my time. l knew that if l DlD win this round (PFT, yeah right, clever humor vs. melodrama? l can dream, though), l just wouldn't be able to get anything done for the next round.
l have a kinda HUGE peeve against forfeits. lt's just such bad form to stiff your opponent (matters of health notwithstanding). So, l'm forfeting against CM while l still had time to draw, and am sorta going out on my own terms.
So uh, yeah! TL;DR.
lt's been nice, LoT!
Good luck in the next round, CM. Make Chimbley kick some righteous ass <3
On a side note, WOW is Niko not that much taller than Josh. Bad drawing on my end, sorry! There's only a difference of 4 inces or so between them. NOT THAT lT'S REALLY lMPORTANT.

Man so much crazyawesome stuff here xD So cute. I love how you draw Crowley- she is just too bubbly and flowy and adorable!! And apparently all of the hospital has leech-fever xD hehehehe. What do you use to ink on these? I love how your inks aren't a straight black, but more of gradient back and forth into the greys. Lovely work :3 The photos of all the OC tourneys is just so perfect!!

L totally need to do a finished picture of Crowley sometime, she's such an awesome character! And adorably fun to draw, too.
l just used india ink for all of this, though l played a teeny bit with it in PS afterwards- nothing too noticeable though.

It's a shame that your entry kind of gets nulled LoT-storywise because of the forfeit. Or could your entry possibly win and CM just advances following the plot set by your entry? I'm not sure how that would work. Anyway, it was a nice read.

l'm not really sure how it's going to work? l don't really see the judges taking the time to judge a forfeit, though l'd certainly be curious about the outcome. l think what happens plot wise is really up to CM after this.
Josh and Niko's story has it's own canon anyhow, and LoT stuff doesn't really affect it.

He just...has such a nice nose! l've actually been basing the looks of a new character of mine slightly on how l imagine an older Chimbley would look, though their personalities and style of dress are really different. Ah, that's true. Then again, I feel Josh had a pretty good chance against Chimbley in the first place (given that it's a l'il hard to make poor Joshy look down-and-out when he already is). I suppose I just really wanted you to win.

Awww, this is just.... really, that was an amazing way to go out. It was really cool of you to draw what you could even knowing you couldn't keep going. For that matter you made chimbley AWESOME. I just love how you drew him. Also, Josh and Niko are simply adorable.

I just don't feel right not drawing for a competition I'm entered in! could have used this round to try and defeat CM/Chimbley, but l think I'm happier with things this way. And thank you so much! They might be melodramatic, sappy and gay, but Niko and Josh are big favourites of mine. Chimbley as well, so I'm glad to hear you think I've caught him well.

l actually don't do action comics very well. I'm starting to find that my strengths are in pacing, and monologues/dialogue/thoughts/whatever. So, a gun vs. broom thing, like what CM is doing some, would have been cool, but maybe not really my style.
