More art from me! A month later! Oops
I've been trying to keep up my activity but a lot of what I'm working on is all in the WIP stages and kind of big pieces... 
ANYWAY; if you recognize the pose it's because I was lazy and used the line art of this drawing for a test here: fav.me/dbpnar3

ANYWAYANYWAY; Pretty happy with this one but I DID cheat a little and pasted a cloud picture (Actually a lot of different ones) and then painted over top. You can't tell because there is basically nothing left of the original pictures that I used but it really made a difference in the end result because those clouds were IMPOSSIBLE.
Also, this file was so big SAI crashed on me multiple times, I lost like an hour of work. Lesson; bigger is not better.
Aurora. in her favorite place, looks beautiful but I really need to figure out my painting style because every drawing is now a pain because I have no idea what I'm doing. Like all artists

woah i love ur art style just the strikingness of the pose that the dragon has, the stunning light rays from the rising/sinking sun underlighting the bottom of the dragon highlighting the beuatiful colours of the wings of the dragon and the colouring u did with the clouds it just looks so amazing! it just looks amazing in all its hard to explain lol

Those are majestic wings those! 
All in all, it's still a dazzling piece and my respect you finished it in spite of the programme crashes. Computers can be bastards, some times. :/ And true, if you have a more limited capacity in the computer it's best to start with small and expand later. A computer nerd told me once it's because even though there's no painting in all those areas round the paper the computer still has to calculate even those 'blank' areas and that will give it some unnecessary work a bit like doing overwork in a job. So to not push the pal too hard, better do it a favour and give it only the necessary work to avoid over heating and crashing.

When looking at the clouds, I can imagine why you used some aid to get them in place
I really like the pose - as I wrote earlier when commenting on the book page / sketch
The perspectice of the plains is wonderful. The whole feeling of the warm atmosphere of a dusk or dawn (more thinking about a dawn) is so peacefully and calm, it makes one want to look a bit longer at it and forget about all sorrows and things. At least that's what I feel.
This sunbeam she's in is just like WOW. A beautiful setting.
Colouring, shading, lighting, everything's in perfect place. Colour made the wings even more beautiful and got the most out of them <3
Aurora remains a beautiful character.

The pose is about 2 1/2 years old but honestly it only took me maybe an hour to sketch originally, it was just so much fun. I dunno, it was like it was one of those things that was 'meant' to be drawn. You know the feeling I'm sure, when something just comes so easily its just a joy to draw. I guess it shows c:

It is cheating after all but sometimes one needs it to get an idea of how something has to be done. I'm using it as well (but I'm taking photos and try to understand what I want to draw

If you hadn't admitted to have cheated during the making of this piece, you would've gotten away with these amazing clouds! Still, you have done an astounding work with the colours of the sun in this piece~ I love that we can essentially see some of the sunlight passing through her majestic wings!
I would highly recommend that you watch some of Bob Ross's videos for tips and tricks to drawing clouds. c: Hope that this helps!
