I got my new lens and filters yesterday! I tested out both at the beach yesterday, and even though the sunset wasn't quite as spectacular as the pervious week's sunsets while Tropical Storm Fred was hanging out in the Gulf of Mexico, this one was still pretty eye-popping!
This was shot using my 55-250mm lens and one of my new Neutral Density filters. When you're not using an ND filter to increase your exposure time, you can use it like a polarizer to pull out the darker hues of color in a scene, and they're great for shooting sunsets!
