YAYYYYY I finished him.Yes, I know he looks pretty damn drab. But... y'know, I really don't care. So ner.
Not an official character of mine in Heavy Metal War (not enough slots, and someone else has the name... T^T ), but you can think of him as an "NPC" of sorts... kinda like Alcatraz. Hehe.
I tried to make the shell and the horseshoe crab's legs a bit darker with a semi transparent fill layer, but I don't know if that was effective or not. >.>;
...I feggin' love this guy.
He'd be damn useless on land, and probably not the best fighter underwater... but would you want that big ass javelin shoved through your spark chamber? I don't think so.

Well, the design is interesting and original. Personally, I picture him as a hoplite in a phalanx; time to "copy+ paste" your way to an ARMY of Ironshells.

I think horseshoe crabs are very cool animals, so it's nice to see a TF with one as a beast mode - and a cool-looking one at that!

I don't think he looks drab, I think you've given him a really cool beast mode! I seriously wish I'd thought of a horseshoe crab bot for one of my OCs, nuts, snaps fingers, lol. Oh, BTW, sorry if you've received this suggestion before, If you gave him a flight mode or upgraded him into a transmetal with a vehicle mode that can either fly (like Depth Charge) or traverse over land quickly (like Rampage) then he'd become more useful/mobile on land, (:

Actually, I think his crab mode might be good. If you flip a horseshoe crab over, besides legs, it's pretty much empty space. He could hide smaller teammates under there and just walk into enemy territory. Once inside, transform and out pops the army. Also, with a turret on top, he'd make a sick tank.

Also, if you made his crab legs turn into guns, like the spiders' legs do, he'd kick so much ass, there'd be no more ass to kick.

Well, it's just his alt that is useless on land. And in the sea, limulus can be quick, but it doesn't really swim... it more or less "walks" on the sea floor. The only thing he's really got going for him is the low center of gravity of his alt, as well as the thick shell. XD;

I was just going to reply, he actually looks like he'd be effective on land in bot mode. : ) All that shell cover, he could provide defense for teammates. : P
