Description
Merry late X-mas.Since I started watching closer Steven Universe this year I'd notice some similarities with Transformers, so, I thought (theory time) Who create gems? rocks are non-animate objects... just as robots (they need comands) so then, what if Quintessons made gems too, as a slave-maid product? then they rebelled against them. In this thought (theory) the gems came first (11 to 12- Billion years ago), and TFs came later (10 billion years ago) because the Qs thought that the robots cannot fight against them (again)Β
So, what you can see? on the left a "spark" and, on the right side "gems" (an allspark-like and 4 diamond-like)
Note: Im taking the Steven Universe and the Transformers: Animated continuity, linked thanks to Cartoon Network.
It took me at least less than 1 day (3 days minus pauses) to complete it due I'm not very used to all the tools on the software and painting/detailing with the stylus.
PS: The head is based after Alpha-Q, and the head itself looks like a ... snake
Update 29-12-2015: Just because I'm a monster who doesn't like anything I've made some changes with color and whatever. That's the reason I didn`t allowed anyone to download it.

Nice theory. Though one thing I never could figure out about the transfomers series is that what exactly are the quintessons? I mean I know what parts they played in various parts of the transformers franchise but I never knew their personal history. What are their origins exactly?

So, is the allspark itself a gem-like device or what? Neat theory! Ever tried to make a fan fiction story out of this maybe?

Well, we don't know "what it really is"... but as far I've seen, "it" shows all the requirements of a "SU gem" (waaaay before they were there), according to "what are gems" and other episodes... also counting "its" abilities to comunicate to others and the huge powers "it" has.

I suppose not. I also had a neat idea about lightsaber crystals from Star Wars, (don't suppose you like that too?) and this guy's video kinda ties into that: youtu.be/5BrcrBBFtI4

I really like this theory. It fits so neatly into Transformers lore.Β
First off, metal (even Cybermatter) is rock just like gems. There is even a race of Tranformers called Rock Lords that are made out of known stone/gem species. Some Rock Lords are even made out of Ruby, Azurite and Garnet.
Then of course there is the mystical Crystal City on Cybertron (well, Cybertron's moon to be exact).Β
Ironically the CrystalGems have more incommen with the Decepticons than the Autobots. Β

I suspect the Gems were actually made by Snake People, snake like aliens.
