I have a story called Animus Arma, and maybe I'll write about it later since the background info is sort of long... Anyway, this is one of the main characters. He and the rest of his kind is known as animus arma (latin for "soul weapons") He's like a giant hollow ceramic puppet with a human soul that was extracted from its original body. These guys were used in wars and battle...as long as they cooperated.

This one is Sol Solis (or just Solis) and he and his brother (Lune [link] ) later in the beggining of the story form a trust bond with the main character Aaron. Sol Solis is an upbeat character, who tries to look at things optimistically. He enjoys company (although his brother Lune is more of solitude) and loves to goof off. He and Lune are one of the Ultimate Animus Arma that were created, and so have great power, but not as powerful as the three "Great Gods" that were the first to be created. And if anyone didn't realize, he represents the sun and the color of his feathers represent the colors of the sunset.

And for size comparison, an average sized adult is about as long as his middle finger.
