HAAAAAAAAAAAFGHJK. My first comic in MONTHS.And it's of... Ratt...man?
What? Why?
Well because I had a dream Chell and him met and it was SPECTACULAR. So this is basically the story of Chell meeting Rattman.
I am proud of the first panel, (Funny because it has panels in it)
It was beautiful in my dream but for some reason Rattman was a robot, and Chell was trying to tell him she loved him.
Because the inner mechanisms of my mind are a potatos.
Or.... I dunno just leave a comment or something XD
Chell and Rattman cpoyright to Valve... I think.

have you read the portal 2 "Lab Rat" comic? It is very possible he is alive, and at the end of this comic, he fell asleep in a cyro chamber.
Meaning he will remain asleep until woken up. So chances are, he's still alive, but probably just needs a wake up call.

I actually found out he is MOST LIKELY dead. I'm about 99.9% sure... I looked up the Portal 2 soundtrack on ITunes, and one of them said "The Ghost of Rattman". Meaning he's dead. But that might be Valve just getting into our heads... AGAIN. And people claim he's alive because "He only did certain drawings in Portal, he couldn't have made them before Portal 2!" But in the first few pages of the Lab Ratt comic there's the same drawing in the last Rattman den in Portal 2, while the comic happened in the time of Portal 1. And there's a big chance Rattman's leg got infected due to no medical treatment, making his leg dead, and then it killed everything else. :/
I'm not COMPLETELY sure these are right, but that's just what I believe.

I was thinking "The Ghost of Rattman" was perhaps a metaphor, but there's no way to really know for sure.
Also I was thinking perhaps his wound may have healed in stasis.
Like Chell, no doubt she was terribly wounded after the first Portal, though in the sequel she looks pretty fine.
Also she's put to sleep for many, many years, without the access to basic human necessities, so there could be the chance he was healed in his little relaxation-pod. Can't really be certain, in my opinion it could go either way.
