A self-disposal was pretty much the only way Ragyo could die. She rejected her humanity. She rejected Ryuko's attempt at being a family. And knowing that she would die at Satsuki or Nudist Beach's hands if she returned, took her own life, all the while vowing that Life Fibers would return.
