Tip? Well maybe that u think about not using the same lines for inner and outer areas. Usually u have wider lines around the character or if it should represent where the shadow is placed.

I had an idea after I saw a video clip of a Nobody from Kingdom Hearts II.
I don't vary my lines, in that, I only use one kind of pen. But, I'll try going over some of the lines for emphasis.
