Astrid's learning to understand Hiccup.
So I've been writing the really fun parts for Crossing the Line... for me anyway. Got a little more plot going and some emotional, fluffy hoodoo. Making up is always more fun than breaking up. Always.
Colors didn't make Hiccup's hand look any better.
Probably should have darkened his stubble too.Also, I hate backgrounds with a passion.

yes, raw lines give it SUCH character I find. Sometimes having a perfectly 'finessed' art piece isn't as drawing or motivating as something with a little sketchiness is. It gives it some life and character... a sort of organic feel

Good to see one of Astrid and Hiccup in this story arc. Hiccup's shirt has this cool fabric thing going on that I like.

Oh yes, I've already begun writing them. You were right in that it is a challenge, but that's half the fun.
Hmm, that's probably the cloth texture I used for Hiccup's shirt. And Astrid's hair is supposed to be normal length (most of it's running down her back)...but for some reason both she and Hiccup got this mullet thing going on
