I really wish we will eventually get a game around this time or before just to see how the assassins and Templars built up again. It could be like The Connor equivalent of AC: Brotherhood

It would definitely be a cool experience. Β I always loved this time period in school and I feel like it deserves more attention. Β And characters like Connor and Shay definitely deserve more story.
But, for now, I'll just have to settle with the fanfics I write I suppose.

Definitely. It sounds and looks interesting. I never learnt any of this in school, as I live in Australia and was force fed Australian history for a long time. Most of it was written by the English. And most of what I learnt was political propaganda. Aussie history has lots of secrets, even just in my family. There are so many secrets just from my family history.

Lots of parts of Australian history is quite secretive. I have written some Assassin's creed fanfics set in Australia in the times of colonisation and the Gold Rush. Which was really fun to write. Who knows the Assassin and Templar war could have actually happened. Funny think about Australia is the only American history we learn is the native Americans like the Iroquois and Custer vs Sitting bull lol.

lol Yeah, oddly enough, that's usually the stuff they skip over in US history class. Β Most of the Native American stuff just gets put in footnotes unfortunately. Β Mainly because most of our textbooks are written by a bunch of patriotic white guys who like to focus way too much on the history of whites in America instead of, you know, the history of America. Β But oh well, that's why I do everything I can to use mostly unbiased sources in my research.
I remember reading about those events when researching Australian history. Β They seemed pretty interesting. Β Though, the time period I decided to eventually use was the Frontier Wars.

Oh the frontier wars. That was a theme of one of the stories. I had a character who was aboriginal, he lost his tribe including just mother to white settlers. The frontier wars are really bloody, the English massacred so Many natives it's not funny. You can tell my family are Irish Australians lol, we hated the British since that. I personally don't have a probably but at that time the Irish were hated by English and would get over taxed and even beaten by them in the streets.
Australian history was written by English governors and politician, pushing their biased agenda on us, when the real history was written by the people. People think we are a colony of criminals when really that wasn't entirely true. Us chose to come over and some were forced because we were Irish or Scottish.
To me sounds like a Templar agenda lol
