Bio: Ben was born in NYC to Iraqi parents who immigrated to America during the Gulf War. His little sister, whom he loved and protected with all his heart, was born a year later. Their parents were Assassins, and thus raised them in the values of kindness and freedom and equality. They all lived happily in a little friendly suburb until a dark dark day came in 2001. On September 11, thousands of innocent lives were lost when terrorists hijacked planes and slammed them into the World Trade Center Towers, causing them to collapse. Ben's mother worked in the North Tower, and didn't make it out alive. In the next few months, the attacks left many Americans in a cycle of grief, anger, and discrimination. War fever and propaganda against the Middle East sprung up like weeds, and the entire thing was a golden opportunity for the Templars to take control of the world. They inspired riots and racism across the country, and used some of them as a cover to raid Assassin hideouts and finish their job from the Great Purge. One riot saw Ben's house attacked and burned. His father was killed, and Ben had to face the tragedy of watching his little sister get slaughtered before his eyes.

Ben managed to escape, but it left him scarred for life. He had nowhere to go, as almost all of the Assassin bases had been destroyed during the Purge. He devoted his life to avenging his sister and fighting off the Templars’ evil plans for world domination. He grew very protective of any friends he made, and always strived to be the kindest person he could be to them. He refused to be like the Templars in any way. After a while, Ben finally managed to crawl his way back to a normal life, with the war fever finally starting to die down by the 2010s. He helped where he could in Assassin affairs, like when he helped Chelsea Little find a Piece of Eden in NYC in 2012. By the end of that mission, he had met a street girl named Ruby Mills, whom he'd later recruit into the Brotherhood.

In 2015, Ben was sent to Raleigh, North Carolina, to investigate rumors that the Templars were hunting down a Piece of Eden on Roanoke Island. He got a job as a receptionist at a local Abstergo Industries branch to serve as his cover. There he met his best friend, Ava Arlie, a young clerk earning up money for college. The two formed a strong friendship, and you can imagine how horrified Ben was when he found out the Templars had kidnapped Ava and forced her into an Animus to find the Piece of Eden. He met with Rebecca Crane and staged a rescue, fighting off the Templars and getting Ava to safety. After going to Roanoke and destroying the Piece of Eden, Ava volunteered to join the Brotherhood in their fight for freedom.

Ben spent a few weeks taking Ava around the country and introducing her to the Assassin hideouts. In November, they went to Montreal to have her train using the Animus monitored by Ruby Mills. While she explored the memories of her Canadian ancestor, Aveza Deryn, Ben got a call from Chelsea saying to keep an eye out for Precursor tech near Prophetstown. They ended up finding quite a lot, with Ava finding a message from the Precursor Gabriel telling her to find the Key to his Temple. And so the gang packed their bags and headed to Indianapolis in order to find the descendants of the last person who held it. A new mission began.
