It's my buddy Brandon's birthday! That means that 1, imma plug his link: everyone go subscribe to the Blobbygobster YouTube channel right now or I shall awaken the mole people from their slumber to spoil your crops. And 2, I've given all of his OCs a glow-up! Imma start with his main OC and drip feed the rest so that I can milk his birthday for content like a real friend (don't worry Brandon, I'm still giving you all the stash links before they go public).

So here we have Brandon's OC… Brandon. Codenamed “the Osprey", Brandon is a member of the modern day Assassin Brotherhood operating out of New England. How he came to join the Brotherhood is a story held close to his chest, but Animus sessions have revealed he's a direct descendant of Assassins from Ireland and Sicily. Also descendant from this bloodline is Jason Feldew, an ex-Assassin who's been on the run ever since the isu Neptune persuaded him to go rogue and a particularly bad fit of the bleeding effect led Jason killing a member of the Brotherhood. On suspicion that Jason had resurfaced to attack a member of his team, Brandon was sent to take him out. Jason managed to persuade Brandon that it was a misunderstanding, though, and convinced his team to cooperate in order to dig up information on an artifact known as the Trident of Eden. Where that journey led them remains to be told…

Design notes, Brandon I hope you appreciate that all of your OCs have the most uncooperative color schemes you could've possibly chosen. My scanner really doesn't like black outfits, and it's extremely difficult to preserve accents of other colors on a mostly black background. I'm getting this off my chest now because it's gonna be a recurring theme. Anyways, the basic premise Brandon's given me in the past for this design is black leather jacket, and gray hoodie with blue accents. Simple enough, and in the past I've kept it similarly simple. For this one though, I wanted to extrude more of that classic eagle-esk silhouette that Assassins are famous for, and I really like how it turned out. As much as I just complained about my scanner, it actually picked up on all the details pretty damn well in this instance. The hoodie, not so much. For the most part it worked, but there's a darker blue lining under the hood which is meant to form a third beak in between the two light blue ones, like Aquilus's hood. You can kinda see it if you squint really hard and you know what you're looking for, and at the very least it doesn't take away from the overall design if you can't. On the weapons side, I actually recycled the baton from the hilt of an Assassin lightsaber I sketched out once XD It's meant to resemble the Sword of Altaïr with a more sci-fi vibe, and I think it works really well in this context too, but now I'm just patting myself on the back and I'm not the one whose birthday it is. Everyone go harass Brandon instead.
