Description

So, I've been working on this headcanon about Connor, Arno, and Shay encountering one another sometime after the events of their respective games. So far, all I can think of is that Connor goes to Paris to check up on the French Assassins and ends up meeting Arno in process. Meanwhile, Shay is also sent to France because… Templar reasons I guess. And all three eventually meet and there's this big fight between the two Assassins and Shay, and Arno finally learns that Shay was the one who killed his father, and Connor and Shay kinda confirm their roles in the fight in America, all that stuff.

And I got this scene in my head where Arno tries to slaughter Shay in a fit of vengeance and rage, but Connor stops him before he can kill him. Arno, of course, really wants to avenge his father, but Connor teaches him the importance of mercy and so he (albeit reluctantly) spares Shay. But in his emotional state, Arno turns to Shay before he leaves and shoots him in the ankle, crippling him like Haytham crippled Achilles years before. Then the three return to their respective homes and Arno finally gets his closure. Yay.

I don't know. Perhaps one day I'll turn this into a short story. Maybe.
