“I knew depression, I knew bitterness, I knew hopelessness and suffering and all things related. And now that I've escaped from it, I find myself in a new conflict, a new layer of the world that was hidden from me all my life. A secret war laced throughout history, one that threatens the beautiful city I now call home. Now that I've escaped an oppressive hell, it's time for me to join the fight to free the city from the same fate. We're few in numbers, and our enemies have the upper hand nowadays. But with my friends by my side and determination in my heart, there's nothing that can stop us from saving Indianapolis. My name is Carter Spainhower, cousin of Chelsea Patterson. We are Assassins.”

So, after weeks and weeks of hard work and editing, I've finally finished writing my next fan fiction: Resilience, which is the story of my main Assassin's Creed OC. I know, I know, you guys are probably getting real sick of me writing nothing but Assassin's Creed stories. Sorry. I'll write something different next time, I promise.

Anyways, about this story; it kinda started out as a vent that I really had no intention of finishing and uploading. However, I had gotten so far into the story after I got done venting that I decided to just keep on writing, smoothing out what had already been written and turning it into something fun. A lot of the story is kinda metaphorical of my emotional and environmental shift during the time when I was finally able to recover from my depression a long time ago, so there's that too. I'll start uploading tomorrow. Yay.
