Description
As I have said in the previous deviations I've submited, I am doing some ilustration for the revamp of the core rules of the Mighty Blade RPG system based in suggestions given by the forun users of the game.This one is a Levent (another exclusive race from Mighty Blade) swordsman. Althought I have started with a completely diferent idea in this one, I have liked the final result.

If I had wings, I would never use melee weapons. But hey, you have to land someday, right?

Well, now, think really hard 'bout that. Those guys have a pair of giant wings flaping in their backs, what probably would very much troble you when you pull the bow string to shot an bow (or crossbow) or when you prepare to throw a weapon. Oh, but you will shot to the side, right? Now, you have a lot of big feathers coming and going on your view. Not to mention that those wings probably make a lot of wind when you are flying with they. Corse, you can shot with you wings spread and still, what means you are in freefall speed. Sure, they could just fire in the moment they stop to flap the wings, but they would never have time to aim. All shots would be lucky ones.
We have decided that in combat they do preffer lances and spears as main weapon, like jousting knights,only flying - what mean much more mommentum, actually! But then again, this one was made upon sugestion in the forum, and I had no control over the concept. and well, take a look in that Falcon guy from the Captain America movies: He does prety well fighting hand-to-hand with wings!

In fact I thought in a winged sorcerer!
And you're right, spears would work very well.
And Falcon.. well he uses his weapons most of the time, and when fight shrink his wings.
But yeah, I thought about casting fireballs while flying!

Well, well! How the reck haven't I thought 'bout that earlier? Well, maybe I still can use this idea (probably not with fireballs, once that, well, fire and feathers dont get well together...) but a flying spellscaster sounds like something intresting! Actually, VERY intresting!
