The process continues. Seemingly endlessly.
You can't really tell in this pic (so I remedied it in other subsequent sketches) but I attempted to make the neck-mouth of the monster wider and more wedge-shaped. I was trying to deviate away from the idea that the creature's head...neck...mouth thing is just a big split hotdog. It's meant to be more triangular, which I think becomes more apparent in upcoming posts.
It's...fine. I do like the idea that the "human" face is mostly masking the mouth, which I want to mostly just appear as a seam along the middle of the neck, even if that's not abundantly apparent here. The hair would theoretically help to cover up the rest of it, but still...not where I want it to be yet.
