Admittedly, not much to show on this one. I abandoned it pretty quickly. But I feel like it's worth posting because (A) I do intend to finish it, and (B) it shows the design evolution the character undergoes.
I was very taken with the idea that maybe this kaiju should have a human face, or very close, to have an uncanny valley sort of effect. I also wanted its body to be an unsettling combination of human traits with inhuman proportions, which you kind of see happening here but it never really went far before I started coming up with other ideas I liked better.
Still...want to finish this, just to say that I did. More on the way.
