Hey i dont care what anyone says Zilla is damn awesome. i dont know why people complain and complain "Oh hes an imitator" and "Oh his movie sucked". personally i loved the movie, its actually what got me into kaiju. its not his fault that the movie sucked or that he was an imitator. its the producer's. i mean hes a preety cool kaiju.
Anyway awesome job. i love your take on him

Sure, as a different kaiju. The writing was bad, though. And the fact they called it Godzilla.

I actually like the remake, and I actually like Zilla as a kaiju...but I think there is a romanticism to the fact that Zilla is now sort of an anti-Godzilla, and there's this idea going around the fandom that Zilla is just evidence of parallel evolution amongst kaiju as it occurs already in nature...so I kinda run with that idea when theming Zilla, as sort of being a kind of imitator to Godzilla...if that makes any sense...

I do too. i love Zilla. hes my favorite kaiju.
I know i HATE it so much! they give him such a terrible imagine. they ridicule and mock him makeing him look like the world's greatest doushebag in the kaiju area. most haters of him dont even have proper reasons why they hate him. its rediculus and annoys me SO much. Arrgh! lol
And i still dont get how Zilla is imitating Godzilla. other then the same ending they have nothing in common. technically it was the JP guy who called him Godzilla in the movie
