"Well, seeing as you are staying behind after school, at least let me keep your thirst quenched... Water, tea, coffee?" quizzed Mr Argyle, expectently.

Ava perused the room, trying to think of a legitimate reason she had to not accept the drink off the man. Sure, common sense might have been the bigget reason, but she was thirsty after all, and Mr Argyle was oh-so reassuring. His voice was gentle and deep, like riding the soft waves of a cove late at night. The young blonde obliged with a nod of the head.

"Tea please, Sir" she replied, sitting expectantly with her pen to paper, whilst her bag lay at the side of the room.

The man smiled and promptly left the room, returning a few minutes later with a cup of warm, sweet tea.

"Take your time with it. It's still hot..." he warned...
