WHAM!

“Ohhhhh! Ouch!” cried the rude boy, high fiving his companion. Their smug and confident leader crossed his arms and nodded in approval.

“Roll her over,” he ordered.

The rude boy whom had chloroformed her, nodded quickly, “You got it, boss!” he barked in the affirmative. Still holding the yellowed cloth in one hand, he grabbed at the narrow shoulder of the slumbering girl and coaxed her long lean body over onto her back. Her singular blonde braid draped like a relaxed snake over her long slender neck. One hand rested on her breast, rising and falling with near imperceptible breaths escaping from her soft pink lips. The act of rolling her over caused the other arm to topple in a boneless sense of carefree. Her hand gave the strangest impression as though it were reaching out for help. No matter. There was none to be had.

If the photographer or any of her classmates had seen the mysterious flash of light, or heard the muffled cries of Dawn Meadows, they weren’t bursting through the door to her rescue. It appeared as though she was on her own.

Her uniform blazer’s sleeves were pulled up her to her forearms and the rude boy placed his hand on her exposed slender wrist, checking her pulse. “Sleeping like a baby,” he grinned with mischief.

“Good work, boys,” congratulated the blonde boy in charge. “Now, let’s get her tied up.”

“Thanks, Tommy,” replied the two boys, in unison, brandishing rope and ill meaning expressions.
