used some fallout 4 screenshots i took for this set, you can find them and others i post here: hazyvelleity.tumblr.com/ feel free to use whateva, they make great painting ref!

so when making these (they all start full size btw i just scale down) i keep track of how long the first one takes me, bout 50mins in this case. i then use that as a stopping point for each and try to keep in mind the process im going through as well the obstacles to gradually speed things up.
obviously quality over quantity is something to keep in mind, so ill be trying to do a 4 hour version before trying the next set. think that'd be a good balance of variation, focus and then application.

some self critique for later: was not too happy with how my clouds looked, first was my favourite only because of how simple they came out.
the second i think i went overboard with dark shapes with lack of proper blending in mid & lower left
third and fourth were my most frustrating ones, need to practice clouds in basic value as well as how to make a good gradient background
oh and should make more use of krita's clipping group feature
