Personally I don't know what to think of this. I mean, it's cool that Twilight is an alicorn but I don't understand the human thing. It defeats the point of My Little PONY.
So, this is going to be a movie and not a spin-off series? Hopefully it's just a one time thing and Twilight returns back to her own Equestria.

Hmm. Well, I've been doing some digging. It seems that it's starting out as a movie and possibly developing into a spin-off. Some of the writers have apparently said the two series will not affect each other but I wonder if the higher ups will keep their word.
