Description "Is traditional!"

Following up on the drawing I did of Yogi [link] here's another drawing I did of a live-action movie that was based off an old cartoon TV show: The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.

For those of you who haven't seen it, here's a link to Wikipedia [link] and a link to YouTube for the trailer [link]

This is the scene after Rocky, Bullwinkle and Karen Sympathy's car is wrecked after they drive on a dynamite infested road and jump out of the car at an "Impossibly Sharp Curve. Jump or Die". Karen is scratched and brused up a bit but the boys are completely fine! (Karen: Guess I shoulda figured. Boris: But not for long!) And soon they find Boris and Natasha about to light a canon, for is traditional! Just as they light the fuse and are about to walk off, Karen distracts them by saying how terrible they are, as she puts out the fuse without the villains knowing. (Karen: Boris Badenov. I've seen you on TV. You're a crocked, creepy, no-good rotten worm. Boris: Oh. *chuckle* Thenk yew. Karen: You're slimey, sneaky, sleazy- Boris: *turns around* Pleeze! Yew tourn my prreety hed! *Natasha blows Boris a kiss, Boris catches it, both chuckle smuggly* Karen: You're a sadistic spy and a... *wets tounge, douses fuse* ... and a... really... really bad person. Boris: STOP! Yewr embaresink me.) The really bad persons then turn around and put their fingers in their ears wondering where boom is as Karen, Bullwinkle and Rocky have espaced in their van, causing the old timey cartoon destruction devices fall out and break. And the two decide to use the CDI, Computer Degenerating Imagery to stop them this time. ("Borees, dahlink, maybe iz time ve update our teknique.")

Please don't complain that I didn't make Boris' outfit all black like in the cartoon. I find it interesting that they used different kind of black costumes for about every different scene with Boris, same goes for Natasha's hairstyles.

Comment and enjoy!

I've seen this at the drive-in movie theater in Lake George with my family, I hated it.

The only live action adaptations of cartoons that I didn't like were Josie and the pussycats (until I realized it was based off the comic books and not the TV cartoon) and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. I like to see Jim Carrey play Dick Dastardly someday.

Cool.If I can make a suggestion, can you do a scene from the live-action "Dudley Do-Right" movie? If you've seen it. If you haven't seen it here's a link to wikipedia [link] (film) and the link to youtube for the trailer [link]

I'd like to do that one. Do you have a certain scene in mind, 'cause I've only seen the trailer. If you do, could you send me a link to a screencap or image?

I couldn't find a screencap or an image of it but I'll describe it.Dudley Do-Right comes into Snidely Whiplash's private garden riding on a motorcycle where he finds Snidely painting a portrait of Nell Fenwick (Dudley:It's paint-by-numbers. Snidely: And I can't tell you how hard it is to keep the paint inside those teeny lines.). Dudley then wins Nell back by chainsawing a hedge and making a topiary shaped like Nell.

Thanks. What live-action movie based off a cartoon TV show should I do next? You don't have to choose the scene, I'll pick.

Should they be in their classic outfits or the outfits from that scene in the movie?

You're welcome ^-^
Hmm, I donno. One of my favorite live action movies based on a cartoon is this one that you already drew for XD. You could draw another scene from the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. But if you want another suggestion, how about Looney Toons Back in Action.

It can be from Rocky & Bullwinkle again. I don't mind. But with Looney Tunes: Back In Action, I can't do.

It's a good movie, but the characters are made in traditional animation style, not made in CGI to make them look realistic, like this: [link]

Um, how 'bout the scene where Fearless Leader is yelling "AND YOU ARE LYING!" at Boris and Natasha through their communicator and his yell goes right through it and blows at them. Or maybe the part where they're on the water tower with the computer and Boris goes, "which one is 'any key'?"
