Fan lore: "Practitioners of the God Fist style were required to train under the harsh weather conditions posed by these training grounds. Its high altitude in the skies was a great way to build endurance for students.

However, shortly after Feng Wei killed the school's master, the grounds were abandoned, its only visitor a warrior who seeks to become the fabled Dragon God.

Feng came back to train and pursue clues that could help him understand the cryptic meaning found behind the God Fist scrolls. He often pondered if his decision to kill his old sifu, the man who held the title of "Shinken", or "God Fist", came at the cost of the knowledge needed to transcend his understanding of the God Fist scrolls and unlock its true power.

When Feng had doubts about his goals, the isolated training grounds was a soothing reminder of how far he had come in his quest to master God Fist in its totality. Being in his athletic prime, he would continue to abide by what was written on the God Fist Scrolls and learn what he could to master the secret it laid bear to the reader. If Feng were to ever master God Fist's true form, no power on Earth could rival him.

Feng did not know it yet, but he was on the cusp of becoming the Dragon God."
