Description
(I recommend playing "Across the Universe" by The Beatles)Fill out a form outlining what you did in a playthrough of Mass Effect and it will create a tailored epilogue that is coherent and in-line with the established canon.
This will be updated in accordance with feedback and additional DLC.
ANSWER KEY: 11/24/2013 is the first birthday of this Flash. Woohoo! In light of such, I'm finally releasing the answer key to show how to get all the secret responses!
If you're using this Flash for the first time, don't look at the answer key just yet, it's way more fun to be surprised the first time around.

UPDATE: Omega (12/01/2012)
Finally finished updating this for Omega. I also took a good amount of user criticism into account. Here's what's been changed:
-Omega DLC has been incorporated, but the only thing it really affects is making the Cerberus blurb on Earth's slide go down a level. (i.e. Cerberus is less powerful after war)
-Fixed bug where Garrus was given an epilogue even if he died. I also gave an addition to his romance ending if Pinnacle Station DLC was complete.
-For fans of Wrex, there's an extra bit if you did right by him throughout the series.
-The biggest thing I added was ME2 romance epilogues. I originally didn't focus too much on ME2 squadmates since they all got a spotlight in Extended Cut, but there were some who romanced Miranda or Jack who were disappointed that they didn't get any payoff. To alleviate this, Miranda, Jack, and even Thane have their own epilogues if romanced.
-Edited the Rannoch page so the state of quarian immunity is explained.
-Few other minor edits and revisions.
Bug Fix: (12/13/12)
-Fixed a bug that gave epilogues to everyone even if the galaxy had been destroyed.
Citadel Update: I really am trying to work on thee update for The Citadel DLC, but I've been swamped with other obligations. It'll be awhile before I can submit it, but I have not forgotten it. Thanks for the patience and support, all.
(4/19/2013)
Passing the 10,000 views mark was a very nice birthday present.
UPDATE: Citadel (5/26/2013)
I have finally, *finally* complete the Citadel update. I really wanted to release this sooner, but I just could not find the time to work on it. Here are the new additions:
-The Normandy now has an epilogue! Your ship can actually be destroyed or emerge victorious from the Battle for Earth.
-The asari now have an epilogue! This was actually something that I meant to include in the original version, but it fell to the wayside a bit.
-Incorporated Citadel DLC. As awesome as Citadel was, the only thing I could really think to include for it is a slight bonus to Normandy's survivability. If you haven't played Citadel, get it. It's well worth the price.
-Reckoning DLC gets a very brief mention in the "Eradicate Reaper Code" end.
-I converted the last slide into an experimental idea I had that's called Legacy. It has a summary of everything that occurred in your ending which can be screencapped and put on your gallery for all to see. Not sure how much that will actually be used, but if you do decide to put it in your gallery, be sure to let me know. I love seeing the results that others get on this.
-Altered Leviathan settings. If you take control of the Reapers, the Leviathans are now automatically defeated.
-Fixed a bunch of typos.

I said that I also enjoyed your version of the ending. I didn't say I liked yours better.
I liked how you made the Husk Head play a part in the Final Battle (if you chose to take it, that is...). I took it with me during my first time playing through the Alternate Ending, and it turned out that having the Husk Head in the Captain's Cabin made it easier for the Reapers to pinpoint the Normandy's exact location. (Oops!)
The only problem I have with your alternate ending is that it's epilogues doesn't seem to explain what happened to every surviving squadmate after the Reaper War (Javik, James, most ME2 squadmates, etc.). Is there an explanation for this?

Averross In reply to ChristyHemmeFanBoy [2013-11-23 02:48:53 +0000 UTC]
Oh, my mistake. Apologies.
When I saw the Husk Head, I actually contemplated the option of taking it or leaving it before deciding "No, keeping Reaper parts in my cabin would probably lead to something bad happening." I really wanted that reflected in here.
There is a reason for that, actually. Javik got a pretty good sendoff in the game where he explains what he's going to do after the war. I decided that any further expansion would be unnecessary or a repetition of what he already tells you. The ME2 squadmates get highlighted in Extended Cut where it again seemed unnecessary, excepting LIs who do get a mention here. I liked the one for Thane, particularly. As for James... I like James, but his story kind of hit a dead-end. I honestly couldn't think of a way to expand on him in a meaningful way.

I liked the ending and Mass Effect 3, is was one of the best games and stories, journey. i wasn't mad about the endings.
Great jobs with is, it was fun and cool, wish it was in the game but oh well. I'm excited for more Mass Effect and new stories, hope to play other species, explore and other things like we previously did.
In the interactive thing at the Crucible what was the Happy Ending like reapers and the species working together, peacefully?

This was beautiful. The attention to detail, such as the husk head (which had me worried there for a minute. Dammit, bob...) was amazing. It must have taken you forever, but it was very worth it, and I thank you for it^^ I was working on an ending comic myself, which I plan to finish within this century, and this inspired me, even though it'll have little to do.Β
Again, great work. All my feels.

Also, drop me a line when you finish your comic. I'd like to see it.

Military Strength and Citadel Defense Force need to be at least 4000 and 110 respectively. You also have to check the box that says "Live, dammit!"
Oh, and you can't pick Control. That'll kill you.

My shep lived but had to sacrifice Earth. Β I liked the appearance of those choices before activating the Crucible. Β I found myself contemplating which one to choose as if I was in the game again. Β I'm gonna do it over to see what happens with the other choices. Β I'm guessing because I chose a different romance in ME2 is the reason for the "turbulent" relationship with Ashley then. Β And also Shaiira. Β lol. Β I also like the description of what happened to the Leviathans after all this. Β I'm surprised at how much the Asari got shafted though.

Averross In reply to BluDrgn426 [2013-11-14 20:55:20 +0000 UTC]
The asari have three epilogue tiers: Scott-free, censure, and expulsion. It all depends on how many of their political experts are still alive to cover up the Thessia Beacon.

Ordoveci In reply to ??? [2013-11-14 01:53:25 +0000 UTC]
Good work. ONly criticism is that it's a bit 'nice' and optimistic. E.g. EDI has large chunks of reaper code in her consciouness. She'd have been reduced back to basic self-awareness as she was just post-Luna rather than easily reactivated, if not completely destroyed. Similar for the Geth. You'd imagine that with their restructured conscioussness around the reaper code they'd pretty much go to pieces when it was removed. And one quarian came up with a code that could kill the most sophisticated beings ever to have existed, in a few weeks? Step aside, Einstein.
π: 0 β©: 1
Averross In reply to Ordoveci [2013-11-14 07:08:21 +0000 UTC]
You'll be happy to hear that all of these concerns have already been addressed. First and foremost, I put a fair amount of effort into making sure that no matter what you do, you never get a truly good ending. As for EDI and the geth, I'm afraid you misread that part. While turning them back on is relatively simple, "with the Reaper Code scrambled, they were no more sentient than the gears inside them," which means that any semblance of personality they once had would be completely gone so I doubt anyone would really bother. Hell, Joker would probably tearfully power down EDI like he was taking her off life support.
tl;dr EDI and the geth are hosed in that ending.
As for the other part, I don't feel like the Destroy AI really breached the suspension of disbelief and here's why: Some of the dialogue in the game and the sheer scope of constructing the Crucible seemed to imply that the events of Mass Effect 3 took place over the course of at least a year or so. Also, Daro'Xen is fanatically dedicated to studying geth and artificial intelligence and is the head of Special Projects. Combine that with the urgency of their mission, Xen and her team would be working around the clock studying the Reaper Code inside the Crucible-board geth.
Thank you for the constructive criticism. Anything positive that stuck out?

Averross In reply to CaminRoss [2013-09-23 16:56:21 +0000 UTC]
I really wanted to include Traynor and Cortez, but ultimately decided to leave them out. When I wrote the romance endings, I included things that I knew for sure that players would want (Like Garrus's place on the beach), and left other things to interpretation that might interfere with headcanon (Some FemSheps would want to live on Earth/Palaven/Intai'Sei/Rannoch. I left the planet unstated so the players could fill in that blank themselves.). Cortez and Traynor were good characters with realistic relationships, however there just wasn't anything concrete for me to work with, so I was afraid that giving any future details would just be walking into a minefield of headcanon ruins.
tl;dr The romance epilogues of Traynor and Cortez are left purely to your imagination.

Well in the game when you are about to head to earth AFTER the final cut scene of (Traynor and Shepperd) Shepperd walks up to Traynor and begins to speak but Traynor cuts her off and doesn't want you to start cuz she doesn't want to cry in the (crc) and shows concern about not winning the war and not being able to have a big house white picket fence some kind of Retriever (dog) with Two kids. then you have 2 options lets win this war first and I'm All in. Sounds pretty good to me. I think that would be perfect to make. But if you don't want to make that then I understand, hell if I knew how to make one I would do it myself. Thank You for Responding. I appreciate it.
