Description
Third popsicle stick painting in the series, featuring my favourite owl species: Asio stygius, or the Stygian owl. The reference image I used had an owl covered in water droplets, so I decided to incorporate that into the piece as well.Please do not use or redistribute without my permission. What a unique idea! When I tried to paint on wood, it was very difficult because it
would absorb all the color out of it! Did you run into the same problem?Ā

No, I didn't run into that problem, possibly because of whatever the sticks are coated in, as well as using white poster paint as a base.
