Description
I'm sick of the ignorant claiming that bisexuality and pansexuality are the same thing. Let me clear this up for you:Bisexuality is the interest of both of the two main gender classifications
Pansexuality is the interest in not only the two main genders, but also those who do not completely fit into one gender(Transexuals, Transgenders, etc)
Pansexuality is real.
It's been around since a little before the 1930s
Deal with it.

Fyi: Transgenders still have a biological sex, thus still falls under the bisexuality label.
To say that bisexuals can't love transgendered people is bullshit.
So yes. Pansexuality is fake.
You're either straight, gay, bisexual or asexual. That's -all-.

No, gender is gender identity. BiSEXUAL, means they love both SEXES, but the potential to love all GENDERS.
Bi does mean two, yes, but it refers to biological sex, aka, what's on your passport.
Everyone has their own gender identity, but that has nothing to do with biological SEX.
I can't believe how thick some of you "pan" people are, it's rediculous. you're trying to prove everyone wrong by explaining the words gender and sex, while YOU are messing it up.
Even in the medical world they only recognize straight, gay or bisexual, because there ARE only TWO sexes.
You're just bi people in denial, or trying to be "cool" and "special"
What the hell is wrong with being bi?
Grow up and deal with it.

But gender can be complete different than sex.
Gender: Is one's private sense of being a man or a woman. There are two sexes, but countless genders. [link]
Sex: A way which a person describes themselves as being a man or a woman, socially and biologically [link]
I was told the gender is more a inner sense while sex is a outer sense, but others my argue on my way of seeing the difference like transgenders or transsexuals of the community. (I learned that from a rainbow alliance group thing with a transsexual)

I'm not close minded, I believe in sexual freedom, but I refuse to believe in bullshit like this.
"just always had thought "bi", "two", is too stump for meh."
uhhuh, jep, you needed to be more "special".

this is assuming that bisexuals only care about male or female, and completely miss that there are human beings out there.
as if -anyone- forgets that there are human beings out there...
I smell some really bad unwarranted self importance

Sorry, let me explain again, bisexuals can date transgender-ed people, so can straight or gay people, I never said they couldn't. I simply said that pansexuality is the attraction to every type of person be them (man, woman, transgender, androgynous, transvestite, or gender queer.) Another thing, saying, "You're either straight, gay, bisexual or asexual. That's -all-." is like saying there are only three races, white, black and Asian, extremely ignorant.

You're proving yourself wrong.
Bisexuality is still the attraction to both sexes and they can love people from all -gender- intentities, because gender is not the same as sex. But -sexuality- defines to which sexes you're attracted, and there are only two: male and female. There are dozens of gender itendities however, and bisexuals also feel attracted to all of these, because all gender identities still fall inside the sex-binary.
you "pansexuals" should stop treating your sexuality as some sort of popularity label and weasel word and just admit you're all bisexuals.
Now you might not agree, but when you become a little older you'll start to agree with me and facepalm about your past ignorance.

Because no one uses bisexuality as a popularity label? Just because a few idiots claim to be pansexual to be cool, does not mean that pansexuality is fake.

And also, if pansexuality is real; it would have been around since forever; not "...a little before the 1930s"
Deal with it.

But going by current theories as to the genetic nature of human sexuality; and its similarities within the animal kingdom, pansexuality can only either be a genetic abnormality (therefore, pre 1930s), or a passing fad for teenagers lacking the attention they so crave.

So in other words, it's being attracted to human beings without discriminating against any type of gender. Sounds wonderful to me and sounds more like what I am. Sweet.

But yeah, I definitely understand your bane. It's kind of insane how many people just don't get pansexual. We have to explain our relationship through personality and roleplay because no one seems to get past the "Oh, so you're lesbians?"
"No, no no. See, We like each other. Love like. It ain't the gender. I don't care if its male or female really. If she got a sex change, or midway, hell, wouldn't bother me a bit."

I'm actually a panromantic demisexual, which is very close to pansexual. I do have preferences when it comes to gender (I'm not "gender blind"), but no gender or sex is an automatic deal-breaker for me. People outside the gender binary (gender queers, androgynes, etc.) are my favorites.

I'm sick of this as well, but the other way around. People actually seem to think that bisexual means I'll do anything. I remember one person telling me "It means you'll do anything on two legs".
The sheer audacity that some people believe they can tell me, or anyone else, what it is they would do or feel
