Hello Avitus12

This is a great render of an adeptus astartes armour. Like other commentators have stated it is a more streamlined version of the bulky armour that is typically seen. Frankly, I prefer this type of armour because it seems more functional.

The focus of my critique will be on minor things, such as the legs. They seem to be bowing inward, especially his right leg. It gives off a child-like feel. Also the elbows, in the image where the character is facing the viewer, look like they are protruding as opposed to appearing to be recessed. Finally the expression on the character's face. Not sure if he's smiling or smirking.

These are minor tweaks really. This is an excellent render with great design. It has good textures and conveys both the baroque nature of the astartes with a sense that they are ready for combat.

Loving what you did with the hip section. Those skirt plates really remind me of medieval armor, which is very appropriate for 40k. They're also really practical engineering wise.

Kinda wish you tried applying the same treatment to the pauldrons, though. I know big round pauldrons are kinda iconic for Astartes and 40k, but it'd be cool to see what space marine armor would look like if it had a more realistic, medieval-inspired design.

Nice.  Looks just about perfect to the miniature models.

I'm liking this design for power armour! It still has the grit that 40,000 is known for, but it has more of a sleeker, yet still bulky feel that is iconic of Space Marines. And the render is gorgeous. Brilliant work!
