Someday (when I have more time hahaha) I would LOVE to be able to make short animations of my comic. I've got lots of ideas for videos, but for now I'm just working on figuring out how I might want to adapt the art style of the comic into one that would be easier to animate.Related content

Bored at my aunt's, creeping through your gallery. I would love to do a short expression animation of Ten, with my basic and amateur understanding of flash.

That would be awesome. I have several little animations I want to make myself, but I'm constantly stymied both by time constraints and no real knowledge of how to animate. A friend showed me a few years, but damn if I remember anything.

Those are cute! I'll get to it eventually, that's what I keep telling myself. The two animations I want to do the most are of a sequence of kilm facial expressions (mostly to get ear movements in there) and the twins in motion. Soooomeday...

Very fluidly, at least when it comes to each other. A little like watching a pair of hands doing something very complicated and intricate.

Would you say snake like in movement? Smoothly moving from point A to point B, almost like they're weightless.

Ssssometimes. Other times they would just move around like very excitable puppies, all bounds and leaps and rolls. It depends on the situation. They just have really great kinesthetic awareness of each other.

The thought of you making animations for your comic excites me greatly, I hope you can do it without too much difficulty at some point! \o/
P.S The comic is one of the best web-comics I've ever read. Utterly engrossing story with beautiful art work and amazing characters, I'm impatient when waiting for new pages! *unhealthy* But seriously, please keep up your fantastic work! *-*

I really want to do at least some basic animations for the comic, even if it's just little snippets of the characters moving through various emotions so you can see how their ears move, or loops of how they walk and run. I have the software to do it. It's just a lack of time.

What software are you using (or, about to use)?
I have animation lessons in school, but I can't really find a program that has the important features and is free to use.
Right now I'm using Krita software to animate, but it lacks some important stuff.

I do everything in Photoshop CS6.
I don't know much about free software, other than I've heard good things about SAI, at least for drawing. No idea about animation though, sorry. :/

The lack of time is very understandable, keeping a comic up for so long requires extreme motivation never mind the time aspects. Most things I really enjoy looking at end abruptly with no reason! D: You've been going strong for so many years I envy you for I have a very strict lack of motivation for things that span a wide time-scale, kudos! xD
