Description
Here's my largest pony to date! While most of my Lego ponies are based on the character's appearance in the show, I based Lego Celestia on Celestia's appearance in the comics, because I think her character and design are much more interesting in the comics personally, and I've already done the flowy hair thing with Lego Luna. Building Celestia's long hair was a lot of fun, since its appearance in the comics varies which allows for some creative interpretation. Also her crown has a golden sausage in it.

I had to modify Andrew Harvey's base pony design a lot to make Celestia. Her legs, torso, and neck are all 2 studs taller/longer than those of my regular ponies. I used the same alicorn head design I came up with for Luna, but with a longer horn. She also features the largest and most complex wings I've ever built, which are hinged in the middle this time to give a more dynamic pose.
