Description A project birthed from the desire to see the sizes of Pokemon in relation to each other, the desire to categorize Pokemon into evolutionary groups, and the result of too much time on my hands. This series aims to line up the official artwork of all fully evolved Pokemon (and some unevolved Pokemon as well), and by using their official PokeDex heights, scale them up to see how large they really are compared to not only other Pokemon, but to us as well.

Here we have the Pokemon based off of creatures from the evolutionary suborder feliformia, which include all felines as well as some other types of creatures such as mongooses, meerkats and many other creatures that don't have Pokemon based off them. Victini and Absol are interesting edge cases as they have qualities of several different animals, but I feel they are very cat like in design, so that is why they are here.

Interesting project Is there a particular reason why you only picked Espeon for this category, while the other Eevee evolutions are listed as caniforms?

Originally, Espeon was with the other eeveelutions in caniforms, as the rest are very fox like, but as I started filling up the feliforms, I just couldn't bring myself to leave Espeon with the dogs when it is so heavily inspired by cats. This certainly isn't the only time Pokemon from the same evolutionary family are in different categories either. Sentret and Furret are in different groups, and while I haven't posted them yet, Remoraid and Octillery will be in different groups as well.
