Description
This drawing is an entry for 's contest with the theme "black and white vs color". I made everything black/white so that the red of the rose and the eyes would stand out the most. Hence, making color -from my point of view- the most of important.This is a last minute drawing for a contest...again!! When will I stop doing that?!?! -.-
My inspiration for this drawing was my sister ^^ (What a beautiful weather~ nice nice -inside joke-)The name of the character means "little flower" in Italian. I wanted this character to have curly hair (like my sister's hair) but she didn't want her character to be like that .. *whispers: I might make her hair curlier later on*

Hey there, I'm ur sister Fiorella's friend! I saw this on her binder and I was like WOW, who drew it? And she said it's my sister. I was so impressed, I LUVED the hair and the eyes, shading, everything! They both look beautiful on paper&screen.

oh yeahhhh my sister has this drawing in her binder yes yes~~ why thank you~~~ I tried my very best because it was for her and it was her "anime" version so I had a little pressure from her >.> She told that she wanted NO curls (emphasizing the "no" way too much) XD

Haha, no prob, you did a fantastic job, and ya, it does kinda look like her, I couldn't tell because of the hair XD. (I rly liked the shading and such...) Aw, but she looks good with curls, she told me she didn't like curls at band camp lol.

The hair is gorgeous, the eyes are beautiful, the shading is the best, the colors look really cool with the black and white and they really pop, the whole picture just works together with pefect harmony.

Your shading is spot-on, on both the B/W parts, and the red parts~~ Using less color in the picture somehow gave it more of an emphasis; I really love how bright the red parts are~! ^w^ And the rose is so pretty~~~ You drew the petals very well! ^__^ Also, your character's eyes are just so beautiful~~ They have such an innocent look to them OwO She really is so pretty <33
