Description
This is my first try at making a sketchbook in the style of the Gravity Falls secret journal that Dipper has. It's my first ever try at gold leafing, and I think it turned out decent. I was using an adhesive pen, which made the edges a little difficult, thus the black pen around the edges to make things look less rough.

My mother does crafty stuff all the time back home, so I think I'm going to enlist her help next time so I can get the design streamlined and just right. This was sort of a spur of the moment thing that I did when I went to Hobby Lobby. I think it will DEFINITELY turn out better next time if I can use my mom's knowledge. She has a room full of the stuff.

I would have loved to have done a full replica, but we don't know about all the pages, so I was contented with making a simple sketchbook.
