Same, to be completely honest. Whenever I hear that word, I just naturally think of those popular, typically white, rich girls in high school who act like and get treated like queens and are bullies who treat everyone else like peasants. I don't like being associated with it, even here on the internet.

I try to treat popular or talented artists as people too.

Nothing wrong with that at all. A lot of people on DA has that problem with some artists. Just because they're super good, they're hard to talk to. That's not the case at all for a lot of them.

I love this stamp, though at first I thought that by acknowledging being a "popular" artist was being kind of boastful or gloating, but it isn't necessarily. I get blown away every time someone says they like my arts, think they're great, or whatever kind compliment they give me, and I am so grateful that there are folks that like it. I still wouldn't call myself a "popular" artist, maybe more a grateful one, but not meaning to sound boastful or gloating by 
Sometimes, even in the most humblest of ways, these things need to be said. Thank you for this!

I agree. I try to befriend whoever comes off as nice, and I don't care. Just because you have over 9000 subs doesn't make you any less of a person and any more of a super being. Sure it means you're harder to get to, but it doesn't mean that you radiate godlike-ness. I just try to talk to whoever I can.
