Heh, I forgot to mention I was working on this too. I've been working on painting from screenshots and it pays off. You can tell which one is original art lol!
I swear I did not copy paste or this would have been posted days ago. Hahaha
Ok so theme time. I always thought that Plio was crazy for adopting a dinosaur on an island of just lemurs but hey props to her. I rewatched this movie and was struck by how many times a scene would come up and the camera would switch from Aladar to Plio's face usually during something important. Then it hit me it was supposed to show their relationship as adopted son/ mom. Though Aladar never calls her mom in the movie, it's pretty obvious he thinks of her that way.
I only wish more of the story had been fleshed out.

So here, have a drawn from memory original art of juvenile Aladar and his lemur mom (excuse my coloring I had no reference...)
