Been ages since I entered a contest... and before 2018 is done, I'm entering a contest, dang it! 
This is for Disney-club 's Contest 63 - Coloring Book Challenge
And look who it is: It's Kron from Dinosaur. The mean SOB needs more love. Sorta. Maaaaybe... nah, not really but I always loved his design for some reason. And - I'm actually kinda proud of this. It was fun, and I got to flex a few creative muscles I hadn't gotten to for a while. Felt good.
For this, I used pointillism style and I thought it would be a really neat affect (and I hadn't done it in so long - I wanted to see if I still could

Yeah, it does. XD It's the hardest during the first 10 minutes. The temptation to stop and give up is real. After I'm past that point, though, it becomes meditative and when I'm about done, I start looking for more places to put dots.

The pointilism style fits so greatly, the skin looks more reptilian and it makes him more 3dimensional. The colors with the subtle blending are great too. The blurred background les him stand out more. On the whole, awesome job!

Beautifully done! The pose and the expression is spot on, and the colors are awesome. I love this movie and I'm glad to see Kron get some attention- he was a jerk but I did like his character.

Kron was a hero? I remember that he tried to beat the crap out of Aladaar when Aladaar made a good point of not killing the herd by climbing (and falling down the other side of the landslide pile), only didn't kill Aladaar because Neera t-boned him away from Aladaar, and then proceeded to STILL stubbornly try to climb the landslide after the herd moved away and intimidated the Carnotaur to not eat any of them in the process. If by hero you mean Kron stayed behind, inadvertently making himself a diversion and bait for the Carnotaur... I think that's still a stretch for being a "hero".

Last time I checked, most of the Dinosaur fans I know love Bruton when compared to Kron. But... in the world of the movie itself, yeah Bruton needed more love for sure.

Kron was one of my favourite villains, some of his reasons were sort of justified because he cared a lot about his sister, but it didn't excuse him for pushing the herd without a care in the world.

Totally! And heck, he had some realistic reasons considering survival was the first thing on his mind. His mindset was questionable, however and you're right, there's no excuse for pushing the herd as hard as he did.
