Just keeping myself in the groove, here's Valiant getting in the face of the celestial scientist, the Great Unknown. Responsible for all manner of inhumane experiments on individuals and entire species, the Great Unknown cares for nothing except testing his hypotheses. In the course of his quest for knowledge he has created powerful entities, including Valiant's evil clone, Vicious, caused the rise and downfall of civilizations and even decimated entire worlds. The fact the subjects of his experiments might object means nothing to him, after all, they are as far beneath him as rats are beneath human scientists and one does not ask animals if they want to be studied. That would be unthinkable.

With this in mind, cosmic heroes find themselves racing to mitigate the damage wrought by the interstellar titan.
