Description
Here are the complete instructions for folding my origami Hydralisk, from StarCraft. This package includes detailed diagrams, with photos of every step as well as intermediate folds. There is also a photo gallery of the finished model.Enjoy! Hope it was worth the wait!

Can you please make a video for step 11 with commentary. Ive been trying from both the video and the diagram. its just really difficult.

I just finished recording a slow, narrated video of the entire hydralisk folding process, including Step 11. I still have to chop it up into 10-minute segments and upload it, but I should be able to get that done this weekend. I'll let you know when it's up!

Hmm, sorry to hear that. Just out of curiosity, how much prior experience do you have with folding origami?
I want to get an idea of what is confusing people about these instructions and I'm thinking I might have to try teaching some origami beginners to see where they get stuck...

Im generally good with origami... can do nearly anything as long as i have instructions, just, dont see how it gets from where it starts, to what it turns into on step 11.

i can do the right side for step 11, but i cant get the left side because you didnt put actual instructions. rather than "do the same on the left" you should just add the extra pages for the left side. visual examples is better than guessing what the opposite looks like.

ok, i ended up crumpling the paper and throwing it across the room. seriously, pages for the left side need to be added. once again, visual reference would be nice, instead of "do the same on the left."

Heh, click the >> button when you get to that point. There are more visual references for the left side, you just have to keep going to see them.
I also made a thirty-minute tutorial video, which I've been having trouble uploading, but hopefully I'll get it up on YouTube sooner than later. If you still need help, that might do it.

I can fold a simpler hydralisk but not this 1

I just recorded a video of me folding the hydralisk today. Half an hour long. I still have to edit the video and upload it, but that should happen soon.

Boosting your folding skills will definitely help. Try folding some other model for practice.
