February 2015Acrylic over gesso over MDF wood.
50x40 centimeters. (19.6" x 15.7")
I was reading Asimov's "Prelude to Foundation" and I liked the description of the sky seen on Trantor, which it's as near to the galactic core as a habitable planet can be.
This planet, on the other hand, it's dead and airless. But it's in the galactic core.

Indeed! The contrast it's not only in luminosity, but in color too. I love the orange/blue and red/blue color schemes.

I agree, i love that colour combination as well. Though it can be tricky to draw them without having the colours look like they are cut from each other on the page, as they are so contrasting from each other. you did a good job here, they look very well.
