Description
Acrylic over gesso over MDF board.50x60 centimeters / 23.6x19.6 inches - 1/2 inch thick.
February 2017.
A modern-day Moonscape illuminated by earthlight.
This is the first time ever I paint the Moon as it is, since all of my other lunar landscapes are set in a far future in which it has been terraformed.

What a pretty space scene, I absolutely love the blue illumination on the rocks as it looks pretty and magical. The milky way trail in the background is executed so perfectly, I love how it looks behind the Earth as it's very realistic. Nice job with the earth too, it looks rather accurate especially with the dark side of the Earth having city lights.

Thanks! Glad you liked it.
The curious thing is this landscape, this terrain, is just some random rock I see almost everyday while waiting for the public transport.
