March 2015Acrylic over gesso over MDF wood.
50x40 centimeters. (19.6" x 15.7")
An M-type star stays fixed on the sky of a tidally-locked planet. Here, in the static line between the eternal day and the endless night, it will always be sunset. The snow will always stay pink and the day will never end.

Yes it's a pretty blue and a warm deep red. It gives me the feel of glowing charcoal or something like that. A warm sensation. If your were there, you would be able to look directly into the sun without discomfort. Just like looking into a fire.
