You are totally right: It looks better IRL. I think UV painting can only be fully appreciated within itsΒ blacklit environment. In a screen every image is light... but seeing pigments actually glowing is a very different experience.Β

I'm torn between my preference of the deeper colors on the UV and the clearer details on this version, but if I absolutely had to pick, I think I'd go with this one. It's a great piece either way, though.
