Thanks for digging on Sol. I'm half Mexican myself...my dad is from Merida, Yucatan. I'm really into the Mayan culture. I happen to have a bunch of books on the Mayan culture as well. When I go down to visit Merida, I make sure to at least visit a ruin or two.

Dang, I should have stated how I did the colors. Just did it first in Painter then finished it off in Photoshop.

The lines were done traditionally and the colors digital. Hey have you heard about the art show that Gnomon is throwing at their next Saturday, the 21st? There's going to be a bunch of sketches and drawings that were done in Sketch Theatre that will be in display...some for sale. I will have 5 pieces up. So hopefully you can make it.

I know! I saw that in your journal. I wanted to go so bad and I already made plans to be away that weekend. I've seen your sketches @ the sketch theater site. You rock. Are you still teaching there? I totally want to sit in on one of your classes one day and even contribute if you'll let me.

I still teach the Character Design class there on Thursday nights. Next term, I'll be moving to Wednesday or Tuesday. Just let me know when you wanna come by...maybe I can have you show your stuff to my kids as well?
