Ahh but doesn't it say how well you portrayed Namine?Β
No one wants to see a well loved character die nor want anything bad to happen to them, but when you do the opposite, you see how much love that character had developed.Β
It's risk sure, but at the same time you had to remind us that they're not invincible, that they can be killed and it's not a good story if they all make it out okay and everyone's happy, it feels unrealistic.
Maybe you didn't kill her off for all we know, but again something has to happen to get our attention.
