Description I did a quick animation with my Liberator model, so I tweaked it a bit more to be a shade more accurate in places. I also decided to make it a little more metallic looking rather than the rather matte plastic white/nicotine colour of the series.

Karanua is right - but it does not detract from the quality of this pic - the Liberator is one of my favourites and I am a chuffed bunny that you are doing a few pics of this great ship!

Lovely!!

Sorry to be a nit pick here, its a gorgeous image of a real gorgeous ship but the nose area could use being made into double sided polygons - you can see through the hull partially where the nose is above atmosphere. The metallic shaders really add something special to this model, very well done.

Ah shit! You're right, there's an error there. I was just about to upload this version to my website too, I'll need to go in and flip the polygons. It must be because I retextured it, not thinking that the damn polys had been put in the wrong way round. It's something I'm careful not to do these days, but back when I made this i was just learning. I'll go fix it and upload the corrected model to the website.

Well I better get cracking on doing the starship "London" (the ship with the built in carry handle lol) Going to need something to give scale to this beauty I think. I uploaded a fed interceptor years ago to 3dcafe when I was getting to grips with lightwave 4 but I'll be darned if I can find it now so it will have to be some other ship from the series.
