Description
Drawn at a restaurant called SPRING ROLLS during a friend's birthday party. It was a little dark and cramped, so I scribbled down the basic stuff then polished it up at home.
That was the first time I've ever had Pad Thai. Someone please tell me, is Pad Thai supposed to taste like sweet and sour rice noodles?
The whole time I was there, I thought to myself "Where's a freaking decent Japanese izakaya in Toronto dammit?!" I've been spoiled on just one visit to a joint called Kenka's when I was in New York for a couple days. Hand-stretched udon is where it's at yo! I sound like such a damn foodie.

Pad Thai is supposed to taste sweet mostly It's noodles fried with tomato and fish sauce basically.
Very nice! You had a set of gray markers with you during dinner? o.o

Oh no, just the pencil and eraser. The markers I saved for later at home.
Hm, one of the people at the table - a local foodie journalist - told me the restaurant had likely used ketchup in their Pad Thai.

oh~ I thought you were all ready with markers on the go XD
Yeah you can make pad thai with ketchup too, then add in the other ingredients to stir fry. One of my roomates is crazy about pad thai and the other is Thai so I see them make different variations all the time
